Proper crawlspace dehumidifier installation is not simply a matter of placing a unit under the house and turning it on. The equipment must be matched to the space, drainage must be dependable, and the moisture source must be addressed so the system can do its job.

In Eastern North Carolina, high humidity, seasonal rain, damp soils, and vented crawlspaces can keep moisture levels elevated for long stretches of the year.
